At the Nishkam Nursery, we place a high priority in developing positive partnerships with parents & carers. Parents/carers are invited to become involved in the centre’s curriculum, outings and fundraising events.
Parents/carers are encouraged to attend six monthly reviews meetings to discuss their child’s progress and any other issues.
The Nursery will deliver such projects as ‘Inspire Workshops’ to work with parents/carers and their children.
We operate an ‘open door’ policy where Management is available to advice and quires from parents/carers.
Parents/carers are invited to join our management committee where the nursery’s policies and general issues will be discussed.
A monthly newsletter will be offered to parents/carers in order to give updates on what is happening within the Nursery
Daily verbal feedback will be given to parents on their children’s progress. Written feedback is also given to parents/carers. Parents/carers will have the opportunity to discuss any issues they may have at the beginning or end of session.
Children will take home a daily diary of events each evening.
Parents/carers are welcome to view the EYFS and every child matters framework, which governs the way we work. It is available to see at any time.
Parents/carers are welcome to see the records kept on their child; however, advance warning of this is required.
