The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) sets standards for the learning, development and care of children from birth to five years old. At Nishkam Nursery, we implement this framework through an observe, assess and plan cycle, balancing adult-led and child-initiated learning experiences.
The EYFS covers seven areas of learning: communication and language, physical development, personal, social and emotional development, literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, and expressive arts and design. Our practitioners are trained to support children's progress across all of these areas.
We believe the best early years education happens when children feel safe, curious, and free to explore. Our approach puts relationships at the centre: between children, their families, and the dedicated team at Nishkam Nursery.
