About the Toddler Room

The Toddler Room is another bright, spacious room. Staff recognise that toddlers are exploring their powers to communicate, to move purposely and to assert their independence. The environment emphasises calm, consistent care and supportive teaching with a balance between allowing freedom to learn and experiment, and teaching social skills, consideration for others, and the need to follow rules.

Key areas include toilet training support and a slightly more structured routine in preparation for their move to Pre-School.

Outdoor Learning

The nursery operates a free flow system enabling children to take their learning outside throughout the day. Staff maintain responsibility for health and safety and ensure all risks are minimised at all times.
